Case Study 1
When working for DuPage County Senior Services (DCSS) the budget is often limited. We talk with the client and social worker to establish the major goals for the project.

Clearing safe path ways to the doors and windows and cleaning out the kitchen was the DCSS’s goal. The most important thing to the client was clearing the dining room to move the china cabinet from the living room into the dining room and have the floor cleared.

So after we cleared and reorganized the contents of the kitchen cabinets, threw out old, expired food, washed and disinfected the refrigerator we finally were able to tackle the living room and dining room.

We also had to clean out the garage so that we had somewhere to put the items the client would not part with.

We can not do everything on a limited budget so we focus on what is important to the client and make sure that is accomplished. Concurrently we make sure the DCSS goals are met.
